What Is Padel? A Simple Guide for Beginners
Padel in one minute
Padel is a racket sport played in pairs on an enclosed court about a third the size of a tennis court. You serve underarm, and you can play the ball off the glass walls, which keeps rallies alive and makes it endlessly fun.
If you can hold a racket, you can play your first game within ten minutes. That is why it is the perfect sport for beginners.
Why beginners love it
The smaller court means less running and more rallies. The walls keep the ball in play, so points last longer and everyone gets involved. And because it is always doubles, it is social by design.
At DOME PADEL in Birmingham we will offer beginner coaching, racket and ball hire, and a welcoming space to learn. No experience or kit needed.
